The Bears placed four on the Preseason All-Conference team. Suzy Smith and Cassie Lafler were named to the First Team while Kaitlyn Cavanaugh and Isabelle Dunnam were named to the Second Team. Lafler finished the season with 19 caused turnovers and 27 ground balls while Smith paced all LR returners with 35 goals and 45 points including a seven goal effort against Coker and UVA Wise. Cavanaugh finished fourth on the team with 24 points despite missing over half the season with injury and Dunnam led the Bears with 25 caused turnovers and 38 ground balls.
The Bears open the season on Feb. 12 when they travel to Lee for a 4 p.m. contest.
